This is totally false. E85 will provide gains, even in a mild compression setup. I have a customer that we did a back-to-back test between pump e85 and Renegade 120NOS and the pump e85 was 3 mph faster in the 1/8th mile. This is a truck that runs bottom 7s in and is a 6.0 with LS3 heads and about 9.8:1 compression. 28 degrees of timing is what it liked in both cases.
