    Set maximum spark advance to 20* and ?

    I have a 2001 Camaro LS1 PCM controlling the modified (222/226, .570/.570 cam, LS6 intake manifold) LS1 engine in my BMW. Ed Wright did the mail-in programing for me. Using HPT I now want to set the maximum spark advance to 20* and lean the idle mixture by 15%. How should I go about this so that I can return to the original Ed Wright tune when I want to?
    '88 BMW M3, bone stock appearing inside and out except for wheels/tires, exhaust pipe tips and, of course, the engine compartment. 2001, LS1/6, Camaro T56, 222/226 @ .050, .570/.570, LS6 intake, ported oil pump and heads, 400 + hp, 4.10 ltd. slip diff, '01 M Roadster front & rear suspension/brakes, GC coil-over, adjustable Konis, 2700#, daily driver road rocket. Still thinking of dropping an LS7 in.

    Get a wideband and check the AFR BEFORE leaning it out by 15%!!
    On my 2001 ZO6 cam/header car, I use 24* wot timing with a 13.0
    AFR. In closed loop the O2's keep the AFR at 14.4 - 15.1.

    Does Ed Wright tuner lock his tunes? If so he will have to unlock
    it before you can read the pcm. If the pcm is not tuner locked, then
    just save his file, make your changes and click the save as icon, and
    name it what ever you want. Then his tune will not be changed.

    How the hell did you fit an Ls1 in a beemer? Lol! Awesome!
    REally need a WB to get into things deeper. There are some new ones on the market it looks like, take a look.
