Rasp in Exhaust before gear change

Would a lean or timing issue cause the rasp at gear shift ( under load or 40% + Throttle) I would like it to be clean sounding but want to make sure its not just the nature of the beast.

    Magnaflow with X pipe installed

    Ceramic Sampson Headers.

It is probably torque management at the shift dropping timing and possible cutting fuel. Need a log of it happening to verify.
