    Startup issue, commanding 0 desired idle rpm?

    If I set it to 1000rpm with scanner controls it all works normally but left to its own devices it tries to make it idle at 0 rpm even though thats not whats in the tables.

    I think I remember someone having issue with a Max Idle RPM table set to 0 but that was in manual OS I think, this is a 4L80e segment swap, with the PN Only switch set to indicate when in/out of gear.

    Pull it into gear and pretty sure desired idle goes to normal because it will usually calm down

    Figured this out, with workaround. So if you put shifter in gear for a couple seconds, desired Idle rpm creeps up to normal, then you can put back in park and it start with correct targeted idle. Something in the background of this OS has Max Idle in P/N set to 0 rpm somehow not sure being an auto 80e OS. Maybe can see it in EFILive

    Set up park/nuetral indication different and works normally. Go figure

    Had this same same issie with my 24x swap lt1 as did a few others i know. Havent had the issue in a while. Never figured it out.

    Actually just fired mine up today. It does the same thing.
    Will command 0 and want to die but if i put in D the park its fine.
    Other than that runs great

    Wonder if i start in N if it will do it?

    Is this a swap. If so you need to change the PRNDL PID. I've ran into the same thing.

    Its an lt1 with 24x ls1 pcm and 4l80e. What PRNDL PID?
    I did notice when im in park it reads gear 1

    My PRNDL in system settings say none. Should i move it to PRNDL? not sure how it works with an 80e?

    Try PN only. I went back and looked on the last swap vehicle I did. It was a LS1 w/ 4l60 in it.

    Ok i will. Compared to a stock fbody file and they all say none

    Looks like the original tune was a manual, made some adjustments..you may have to tweek the BRAF P/N

    Edit; The idle max P/N and BRAF alone might get it for you if the other parameters have been changed to suite your setup...

    Do compare of a auto vs manual file for your os , all other things being equal , lots of differences between a flywheel (energy storing) vs a converter (energy stealing)

    I upgraded and mine absolutely says 0.
    I opened a stock auto file and its populated at 1200
    A manual file says 0

    So my file as stated did start out as a manual file.
