Exclamation Hellcat powerd Miata cant tune pcm... controller init fail

Hey so i installed a hellcat engine into a miata.

it supposed to come with a mopar pcm thats unlocked according to the instructions.

i tried to get it dyno tuned yesterday and we chose gpec2a I had no idea what to choose....because i dont have a vin number or anything like that.
then when we tried to make changes it says

    (controller INIT FAIL)

tuner says that reminds him of a pcm thats not unlocked....

so i emailed tech support but they only wrote me back today and i am no loonger at the dyno.

They asked for info logs but i dont have that becuase i dont own hptuners hardware or software. the tuner does and his shop is almost 5 hours away.

I want to get this fixed so i cna go back and tune the car and not waste 200+ bucks in diesel driving there and back.

If you bought the hellcrate ECU and harness kit then the PCM comes unlocked. When in the scan tool all he needs to do is enter 11111111111111111 for the vin and it will take it. If you have a pcm from a car it will need to be sent in and unlocked

Yes i have they say they want info log

So now i am buying my own hptuners and waiting on it to come in.

I had the car at a dyno trying to get it tuned but it gave that error.

So instead of hptuners having a phone they only respond through email.....

So they got with me the next day...when i wasnt at the dyno.

But now they get my money becuase i am buying my own hptuners so i can get a infolog at home for them.
