Question on "Double Pulse" timing table

So under the Engine>Spark>Timing there is a table called "Double Pulse". The description says it is related to the cat lightoff process. So is this table only used for timing while the car is in open loop mode and trying to get the cats to light off? I know it affects how the car starts up to some degree and I am chasing down a minor annoyance that I think is in this table.

according to the tune split pulse is only active during cranking

according to the tune end of injection table is only active/applicable for split pulse fueling

so to me, that means split pulse and end of injection adjustments do not do anything for a recalibration unless you are tuning cranking issues which you should have if your MAF and VVE are dialed in.

Awesome, thank you for the info Higgs. That was my hunch as to how it worked. I will put that table back to stock then. Previous shop messed with it before my new tuner, so I am trying to set it back to stock so the car will start up correctly. This is on my 2017 Camaro SS 1Le with a Procharger D1SC on it.
