    Audi tuning how to?

Is there any where I could find a crash course on tuning these ECUs. There?s plenty of how tos for gm and others. I can?t find anything on the VAG ECU. I have quite a few people that would like a tune, just don?t know where to start. All my tuning experience is with the GM platform.

I’m in Sacramento, and have sorted these ECU’s.

I wrote the software for my S6 with larger turbos.

I too came from the GM side of the house via Boosted LS engines.

I also have a twin turbo C5 Lingenfelter car.

It took me a good three months to figure these PCM’s out. It’s like speaking a completely different language.

If you look around on there they have the MK7 Golf as well. The logic for the MK6 and MK7 should help you get a grip on how these systems work to get you moving in the right direction. The Cobb tables are named differently, so you just need to figure out the respective names for the tables in HP Tuners. Cheers!

I'll post up my file in a bit when I have my other computer. I'm still trying to get the PIDS in the scanner figured out with HP, but I think the OEM file is correct. You'll need the current version of the software and the interface connected to open it.
