Focus ST - Fuel Enrichment Pedal

    Hello..

I was poking around my stock file to see how things were setup from the factory. I noticed something rather odd which to me looks like perhaps HPTuner software did not pull the values from the ecu right. I could be completely wrong but it didn't make much sense to me.

My stock file shows under Fuel->Power Enrich->"Fuel Enrichment Pedal" every Row at 6000 and 90%. Wouldn't that mean that fuel enrichment wouldn't occur not matter what until 6000rpm and 90% throttle?

I am just starting to learn how to tune, so I have absolutely 0 experience but I thought it looked rather odd. Am I not understanding the table correctly or is it just not used?

This is a bone stock 2013 Focus ST.

    Thanks for the insight!!

That is really weird, do you have any more info about it?

I changed mine quite a bit. I was getting boost and lean a/f ratios. Now a/f ratios come down a lot
quicker and I get much smoother response rolling into the throttle.

Here's how I have mine set.

Yeah I ended up blending mine starting at 65% at 1000rpm to 30% at 7000rpm.

From what I could tell this is the pedal threshold to trigger the WOT Lambda fuel table. I lowered mine to 75% and it really helped with pedal feel. If you leave it stock, you start to hit the max load at part pedal limiter. This keeps the car from requesting too much boost at stoich. So once you hit that limiter pushing down on the pedal doesn't give you any more load (airflow / boost) until 90% when it goes into the richer commanded fueling.
