    A couple of questions

I have been looking over some tunes and had a couple of quick questions

what is the purpose of having the ETC vs. IAT set at something like 130 as opposed to 285? does it just keep the o2 sensor in open loop indefinitely?

also, I've noticed some people have been keeping the LTFT and STFT disabled, why is that?

If you want open loop only, as in zero o2 sensor function you'd set the closed loop ETC to something like 285. The factory wants closed loop to enable once the engine is between 120-140 degrees in most applications.

Same thing with fuel trims, some will disabled everything for open loop only or only disabled LTFT because they only want STFT active.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

what is the thought process behind keeping the vehicle in open loop and disabling LTFT?

Either it's not possible to run o2 sensors properly or even the setup is so crazy that o2 sensor would just give you a headache. So they go open loop only and just tune it with a wideband.

LTFT's can get annoying with some setups, could be something with big cubes or a really good sized camshaft. Using STFT is easier along with wideband tuning.
