They will throw you off based on a wideband readings since they are downstream further. You need to adjust the o2 sensor data, but honestly most don't and just leave it. Otherwise, yes you have a leak an unmetered air situation happening.

I?ve read the long thread about the o2 adjustments but I haven?t been able to tell what was improving what or not. When reading thread, the middle pages, it looked like a bunch of people trying different things and then nothing.

I went through everything and sealed it with copper rtv. It?s def sealed up now. It?s just not sounding as clean as it did stock. There?s def a cough in there at a hot idle

Let?s start with where the trims should be while idling?

On the headers? That could be an issue. the Silicon in RTV will destroy O2 sensors in a heartbeat...

Did you remove your spark plugs during the header install?

Yes, and just put in new plugs and wires last Saturday for Unrelated reasons...just because of mileage. Cars running very strong just not as clean as it was stock at idle. Nit picking for sure, but there?s room for improvement, this is why we?re here right?

Absolutely, I was just curious because I get alot of cars that come by that have a little idle stumble because they cracked a porcelain is all.

I hear ya. I pull the plugs but know a lot of people don?t and then go nuts diagnosing issues after install.
Appreciate the help. I did open the gap from .040 to .045 on a oem plug tho. Didn?t notice much change. Maybe gets me a hp or two

Fixed the idle issue by finding some gen iv o2 calibration posts.

All my trims are -1 even in idle cells while moving but go +5 while actually idling. What can be adjusted to fix this? I am assuming I shouldn?t leave it like that?

Fuel trims of +- 5 are nothing. As fuel ethanol content varies, o2 sensors age, it will move around a bit

Base airflow matching actual airflow numbers and if you have CAI or IAT breakout, the bias data can get you dialed in real nice :-)
