    E38 stand-alone

I'm tryin to use a e38 as a standalone and everytime I try to start it there's no fire and throws a crankshaft not learned code.. I've disabled vats 1 and 2 ..... Even tried it on my 09 suburban and same thing. Think it's a bad computer?

Did you disable both VATS patches and then Write Entire? In a standalone application, you'll also want to change the starter diagnostics parameter in System->General->Starter Relay to Disable.

The Crankshaft position code is expected when a different ECM is installed, once the engine is running perform the Crankshaft Position Relearn procedure.
