5.3 swap to k5 blazer w/ manual trans, is it necessary to have a speed reference

We have swapped a 2001 5.3 into a k5 blazer. it has a muncie sm465 manual transmision. the ecm has no speed reference. it runs decent, still working some bugs out. Will it be ok without the speed reference? The tune is for an automatic. having trouble finding a manual tune.

Should be fine, I did a Th350 swap and couldn't use manual file either and it runs just fine.

Though you need to double check some stuff here. You say the engine is a 2001 but this calibration is from a 1999. The 1999 model year trucks use different injectors than a 2001, so if you have the 2001 injectors you need to fix that data in the tune.

Double check fuel pressure is solid at 58psi as well. The log shows you have a fueling issue or extreme vacuum leak on the drivers side bank, fuel trims are pretty much maxed at +25% the whole time.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Verify the part numbers on your injectors still. 2000 model year trucks run 25lb/hr injectors and your tune says 21.8lb/hr injectors right now.
