scanner calibration

when i change to a 2bar os with a 2bar sensor,does the scanner program get this data from the vcm or do i have to somehow re-calibrate the display? i cant believe i'm really making 15lbs of boost with a whipple on my 5.3,but haven't put an analog gage on it yet to verify.my first thought is that the 2bar sensor throws it off by a factor of two.

have to click on chart properties--pid--aux--map--and select the 2bar.and the high boost is apparently real--as mentioned in earlier thread,blower has wrong pulley installed.
