    afm codes wont clear

    i have an 09 silverado 5.3 pickup that i removed the afm with a block off plate, new non afm lifters and a non afm cam. runs and dries great just cant get p3401 p3425 p3441 to clear. i clicked on the disable dod master switch to off and even deleted the codes and un clicked on ses enable. still the codes come on. what am i doing wrong?

    If it not popping the check engine light and just come up as a previous pending code, leave it be and it should just go away on it's own.

    If you flashed the file with the changes set to no error reported, that is all you should need to do.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    Its labeled as permant. Cant pass emissions. It's been on there for months.

    Only workaround I could suggest is to re-enable DOD, plug in a known good DOD valley with the solenoids (even just laying on top the engine, the PCM should see that they’re there), perform a drive cycle and see if the codes go away. Maybe get it emissions tested if they do, then set DOD to off as well as error reporting. Remove the valley/ solenoids and see if the codes return.
