    Monitoring Power/Eco for trans shift

I have an LS1 from a 2000 VT Commodore in my 58 Apache.

After getting it up and going recently I now want to hook up the power/eco switch for later use.

From my understanding the "Blue 71" pin on the PCM wants a momentary earth to switch between modes (and always starts in eco mode)

I have connected the factory power/eco switch to earth and tested when pressed that the output momentarily drops to earth. I connected this wire to the PCM connector blue 71.

Is there a way within the scanner to check if I am switching between modes. Ive tried a couple of options I thought were correct but get no switch between power and eco.

    Any help appreciated.

It's [14200] Trans Shift Mode on my po1 ..if that helps
There is also a setting under Trans>shift general for switch type, set to one switch...?

I cant find a "14200" in the VCM Editor or "trans/shift/general" in the scanner.
Im running version 4.4.2 if that makes any difference.

This is on OS 12212156-> RTT Enhanced so i dont know how it will translate to your Commodore OS

[14200] is the channel in the Scanner and is labeled Trans Shift Mode and shows Normal,Power,Cruise in the channel list (you will have to add it to scanned channels )

As for the setting in the Editor its TRANS > SHIFT GENERAL under General set Perf Option to one switch

    Thanks Badwolf -
I found the option in the scanner by using the search function......
I still wonder if its my editor software or the Holden PCM, but I just don't have the options you showed in your attachment ... I hve no shift general tab and the options on it arent on any of my other tabs ???

Thanks .. I often wondered why I never saw all the options like on the youtube videos.
And my mod for the switch worked and is triggering in the scanner.

    Thanks
