Fuel cutting off before commanded Rev limit

Hello, like title says, I have a car that I have the rev limiter set to 7250, but it still cuts fuel at 6600ish rpm. Is there anything that I'm missing? I thought I have everything set for 7250.99Miata_Ls_fuelcutoff.hplClagett_99Miata_6.0Ls_FuelCutoff.hpt

I was having the same problem but I have an automatic trans. By what I see you have a manual and I don't know if that makes much difference, but if you go to the trans tab click on shift scheduling and look at full throttle shift rpm it is set at 5300 rpm on yours. I had to raise this value up so mine would quit hitting limiter before desired rpm. not sure if it makes a difference with a manual car but it definitely does with an auto. hope this helps and maybe fixes your problem.
