MIL/Check Engine disabled ?

I was able to pull the tune file from car that i paid a tuner to do an i noticed he has my MIL/Check Engine (disabled) should this be this way is it a common tuning practice or did he do it so the engine light wouldnt come on and I wouldnt bring the car back he was only supposed to turn off the MIL light for the cat delete

yes there are some MIL lights that are turned off, due to certain mods to the car, like Cats removed, rear O2's removed ect..

Yes but you want to disable few DTC's but not the MIL light entirely LOL
