How are you bleeding these whipples?

Trying to get what i believe is air out of a Jeep we keep seeing 150 degree intake air temps while cruising down the road on 80 degree day. Tried getting front up high, back up high, pulling vacuum on it, pinching return line shut to force air through core under pressure every trick in the book Ive ever used

Make sure the bypass valve is working. Might be good on fluid but bad bypass valve

Whats best way to make sure its working 100%? I have a setting fixture for the LS LT cars.

Its a whipple car, I have IAT Source set to IAT that is correct not on Manifold Temp (thats a calculated value right) Temp raises up soon as I LIFT which seems kinda odd

Temp goes up when you lift as you are now bypassing intercooler

Just not used seeing IAT react that quick to that!

My wifes Whipple 392 Charger seems to typically run around 60 degrees hotter than ambient air. That's on the highway. To me that's kind of dumb but the Whipple and their supplied heat exchangers are just not very efficient. My old Edelbrock 392 Challenger would run about 25 above ambient.

On the highway the whipples are bypassing the intercooler (whereas the edelbrock does not) but even so I generally see around 20-25c above ambient.
As soon as you step on it the temp should go down

I did not know this. How does it bypass and how does it know when to switch?

    Thanks for the info.

Mine runs between 30-40* hotter than ambient and goes down once you go into WOT But i do have the upgraded stage 2 kit. If you find a better way to lose some of that heat let us know. Im thinking about running a meth kit just for this reason. I also dont remember installing any kind of bypass valve into the inter cooling side of mine..??? Anyone else heard of this? Also i have been told the edelbrock kits were worse with this than the Whipple but thats all hearsay..
