Question progressively richer in every gear - SD

This is a preliminary question / discussion, I'm curious about theories but WILL post tune and log soon.

Ever since I recently went Speed Density with a huge intake and throttle body, it was pig rich at first of course. Good enough cold / hot start, idle, drivability and power for a baseline and I'm dialing it in daily.

    2001 Z28 LS1 T56 bolt on

I'm finding that as I lean out slowly and log the higher gears are pig rich still as the lower gears are approaching ideal(ish). As a matter of fact they are progressively and predictably rich.

    (WOT / PE)

    For instance as I go through the gears something like : 12.8, 12.6, 12.4, 12.2, 11.9, 11.0

    I do have 4.56 gears

It's because my VE table is not dialed in proper isn't it. I do understand the concept that all is sees is VE cells now as opposed to before where above 4k the MAF was snitching better.

PE is just a multiplier off the VE table

yes sir, right, but given the symptoms I would think that it being off is causing a more pronounced "richness" in the higher gears especially with 42lb injectors and 4.56 gears.

I would guess that it has more load and more time to over fuel in the higher gears.

Pull fuel from 4000 up in the VE table from 90-105 kpa (since NA), pull 10% as a test and I bet be much closer

Yes better. Traction is now spooky in 4th gear. Delivered Torque PID reads 370 for several thousand RPM. Thank you BC!
