Just thought I would share this as an interesting tool for tuning light load operation like idle, return to idle, low end of MAF curve, etc.
I think that you need TQ based decel enabled, but not 100% on that.
Basically, just by editing the values in the "Decel Max Rate Drive / Neutral" way down, you can let the car do an ultra slow reverse RPM sweep. Here are the values I have been using:

Warm the car up and then slowly bring revs up to 2000 rpm, 3000 rpm, wherever you want, hold steady there for a second, then lift quickly from the pedal. RPMs should hold, and very slowly fall back to idle.
Here's a log. You can see that it takes over 1 minute to return to idle from 2000 rpm:

On a side note, I tried a bunch of settings trying to tune out the ETC angle oscillation with really no success. I tried:
- ETC Throttle Angle Derivative Gain
- ETC PR Filtering
- Desired Air Mass Estimated Throttle Position Filter Time Constant
- TQ / INV Tables
- Spark Proportional Gain
- Idle Control Enable RPM Error
- ...and probably more
It looks worse scaled out to 2 minutes, than it is in real life, but I'd still love to tune it out.
