    E38 2bar SD hack

Hello everyone! I'm looking for some feedback on a wild idea I have had.

    - Currently running moded a 2 bar SD on supercharged ls3

Needing to hack the load. At first I was going to try the half ifr half VE but that won't help with the fuel resolution when we change pullies and shoot for 30psi.

Could I double the map scaling and half the VE to achieve double the VE map? I'm sure there will be other fueling changes to bring the injection back to normal.

Is this to much hacking or a decent work around?

    Thanks for any feedback.

I'm trying to get the fuel map resolution to be able to tune over 255kpa.

you can tune fueling off the 255 line in the VE table and with a rising rate boost referenced reg is shouldn't be too far off.

you can alter the map sensor scaling so it reads less than actual manifold pressure to the scale of 255kpa is 30psi boost. then recal the entire VE table to suit, accept less resolution for driveability, cruise and idle. the VE values still need to be reasonable within range or it will effect spark resolution in a negative way.

    tune with a MAF

Exactly how much boost are you trying to run?

Since you are supercharged and boost is linear with RPM could keep it simple and Mod te PE table for more fuel past its 256kpa limit.. most likely only have to do past 5k RPMs
