    04 Cummins 6 speed

has anyone ever seen a early 04 6 speed truck not come back down to normal idle? this isnt a issue caused by hp. but trying to fix it.
sometimes when coming to a stop, clutch depressed, the truck will idle at 1100 rpm. only way to get it to 750 is to partially let the clutch out in gear then back to the floor. dont see anything in logs, other then for a manual its showing trans temp at 236*.??
I attached a log while the truck is doing it own idle up. towards the end it comes down, only thing i did was push the clutch in a few times. this was all sitting in the driveway.

Looks like you are running in misfire mode as well. Might be looking at that wrong though.

ecm doesnt monitor trans temp on the manual transmission.

White smoke at all out the exhaust? And post up your tune so I can see what you did to be sure it's not tuning related. If you don't want to publicly post it , pm it to me.

i fully understand that, but trans temp is showing while logging.
this truck has done some weird things. which im still working the bugs out.
this idling issue started with a edge evolution tuner. and has carried over to hp.

Not ?making oil?? Asking these to try to rule out possibility of leaking injector. Is your wait to start light stuck on?

I'm leaning towards hardware fueling issue. Disable the leak detection in the Fuel Sys tab, Fuel Pressure tab, far right very bottom, reflash and see what happens. Then try turning off misfire timing with leak detection off , flash and see what happens. Your issue can be coming from imbalanced injectors, FCA issue, weak rail PRV, weak cascade overflow valve, too high of injector return rate. You have something causing very low rail pressure, below desired from commanded tables. Might be different on the 03-04 but 05-07 max desired rail pressure during a leak detect is 35MPa and you are 10MPa below that. There could be a combination of things happening here in the fuel system causing your issues.

Usually the leak detection will lock on the wait to start light and the ebrake light I believe it is. A large enough imbalance between the injectors could cause misfire to happen and activate misfire timing
