    Ford Fiesta 2015 1.6 Turbo Throttle Closing at 5.5k RPMs

    Hi all,

    I am looking for some help about an issue, this is a stock Fiesta ST 2015.

    The throttle goes down from 99.7% to 60% when the engine pass from 5500 rpms.
    It happens with the stock tune file and the modified tune file.
    The changes between the files are just a little more timing and higher throttle angle by RPM.

    Spark --> Advance --> Borderline --> Mapped Point 0 to 13 & Optimun Power
    Airflow --> Electronic Throttle --> Max Throttle Angle vs. RPM

    I got a better response after that changes but i can?t find why the throttle closes at that point.

    Thanks for your help.

    Try adjusting the LSPI tables under torque manegment, the tapering may reduce boost as engine load decreses higher in the rev range. Adjust the max torque tables as well, those begin to lower the max amount of torque that can be outputed higher up in the revs.

    I would also recommend datalogging your source points, 90% of the time this will tell you exactly where in the tune the throttle is being pulled. I.E. "5 popcorn" "exhaust temp." things of that nature, to narrow down exactly where you need to make your adjustments
