Tuner using my MPVI2 to tune with his PC

My Tuner, to save me a few dollars, wants to use my MPVI2 which is licensed to my vehicle already for tuning my car.
Does he just need to plug it in and do a resync to get it to work? He was asking me for an application key, which is only for the older MPVI interface.
    Thanks

Correct, just plug in an resync for MPVI2
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
