Thread: 2018 up throttle limiting above 7300 rpm

    2018 up throttle limiting above 7300 rpm

    I went into problem which is more visible when i install larger TB.

    Stock TB starts closing at 7600 rpm and is not closing as much as Bullit TB
    Bullit TB starts closing at 7300 rpm and it's closing more than GT TB.

    No errors, it's always driver demand tq source, but DD desired is getting lower when rpms are close to above, no matter what DD tables are set to request, may be rocket sky.
    Not related to tranny as it happens in auto or manual, not related to any available RPM limits as i tested them set rocket sky, not related to torque/inverse tables as i adjusted them also.
    Attached log from Bullitt, same happens on GT.

    i reported it some time ago to HPT, but they can't find for now what's causing that.
    Anybody experienced that? Solution?

    I just wonder how the hell you got negative 5'C IAT in the middle of summer with ambient over 30'C...this looks fishy...

    It's better to look at log directly, or properly configure your gauges or ask HPT if it's displaying wrong. Gauges and charts still has has some bugs.

    sure they are different throttles? as far as I've seen, it's the same part number for stock and Bullit.

    All info I read was it was the gt350 throttle body
