Mustang GT 2006 Automatic with Roush M90 ----------> MAF Transfer for Ford Racing CAI
Hello guys, I would like to know if someone can give me a MAF transfer function for a stock Roush Mustang (2006 automatic with a M90 supercharger) to adapt the Ford Racing CAI from a 2008 Bullitt?
I have tried using it without MAF transfer, but I'm getting huge fuel trim values.
I also would like to get an original Roush automatic tune from 2006, I think my tune was modified by the previous owner.
For anyone how is interested in my current tune, this was programmed in the us before the car was shipped to Germany in 2010, I have attached it to his post.
Why not just tune the maf yourself? Should be pretty quick. Plot STFT on a graph of engine speed vs Maf V (sensor), use the values in your tune for the axis.
however, it is best to use maf counts or maf voltage as that is the actual variable your adjusting for. What I recommend is simplifying the maf transfer down to easily obtainable whole numbers see example below and then holding each maf count or maf voltage stable as long as you can to get an accurate correction.
setup the maf voltage points in the maf transfer like so
then simply setup a histogram using fuel trim math ltft+stft and no columns with thr rows being maf voltage or maf counts scaled how you have your transfer setup
of course this will only let you dial in the maf down low and wont give you any wot corrections but you can get the maf dialed in using closed loop and extrapolate the higher points to give you a good starting point. Then simply use your wideband to correct the curve up top at wot.
