I use an LS9 on a drift car, the stock rev limit settings are very unsuited for drifting as it's very slow & has a some sort of a delay logic, it's like you lift of throttle for 1-2 seconds & that kills the car's momentum as the car drifts at full throttle. I heard about a remedy for this specific issue, can someone please list the steps needed to improve the rev limit?
You mean disable ETC? as it's enabled in my current tune. I believe in order for this to work the "Cmd Torque Delta" table would have to be modified also, but I'm not sure how!
I also found this thread https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...ge+rev+limiter
The solution in the above thread was by disabling both spark & ETC & enabling fuel cut & further by modifying the 'Cmd Torque Delta' but the pic showing how to modify the table was erased from the thread!
I'm positive that many had properly set the rev limit for a drift car. Any advice what's the best approach?
