    Crate engine to stock ecm?

I have a 2009 GMC Yukon xl Denali AWD with a 6.2l l9h.Question is. Will a LS3 crate engine rated for 530hp plug into and run on stock ecm with a tune?

    Yeah it should.

If you use all the sensors and stuff from your yukon, it should all bolt right up to the LS3 engine block.

Then you would have to tune for the engine change.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

A stock LS3 is 430 hp. You can get 525 with a cam swap but it won't idle with the stock tune. Just need a min idle airflow work, less spark error control and a higher idle speed. The rest is good.

I put a LS9 crate in a 2008 Yukon and the cluster worked and it communicated with the trans too. Gas gauge was off a bit.

Thanks mr bishop I appreciate the info. I will be installing a 530hp blueprint crate engine in it and will have it tune with stock ecm. I will post results after tune!
