L94 Pulling Timing as Load Increases

Can someone tell me if this looks normal. When I increase the throttle and the load increases the timing will drop from 28 deg to about -8 degrees. When I installed the VVT the spring came out. I managed to get it put back together (although it almost cost me a finger LOL ) But I wonder if its retarding the timing too easily. This engine starts fine runs ok except it runs hot above 230. Air is completely out of the system but still runs hot. I've attached a Tune and log file any help would be appreciated. Thanks
