    Vehicles list is correct.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

Correct I have the 2016 sierra L83 6l80E took 2 credits. I would recommend you upgrade to the MPVI 2.

I also have a 2016 5.3 6L80E. Looking for clarification. I only need 2 credits to edit PCM and TCM?

"Certain ones" are still 2, but it looks like in the last month or two hpt has gone up "doubled" on certain vehicles. 17's for example - I could be completely wrong, but I swore they were 2 and 2. Now it's 4 and 4... Maybe I'm completely wrong and they've always been 4 and 4?

It wanted 2 to do the VIN and 2 more to do something else. It was 2 different things it wanted 2 credits for each.

2 for the engine and 2 for the transmission is right. Guess I was wrong on the 17's then. I sure didn't remember them being 4 and 4.

It wouldn’t let me license the engine without licensing the transmission too.

There's only one way around that. When it goes to read change the tcm to not read. After that all you have to license is the ecm. You're better off to tune both though. You have to watch out on the ones with fpcm's too. If you're not going to be flashing it then select it to not read it.

Thank you that helped a lot. I was doing a dod delete, so didn’t need everything else.

I have tuned several 6l80 trucks 18 and older. 2018 was always four for the ecm but i have never been charged to license a t43. If they have changed this without giving an update that definitely sucks for the end user. I could have priced a job to a customer like usual and not known the new licensing system. Shame on hpt. Edit: I believe the "6 speed tcm" in the additional supported controllers page is for duramax and not the t43.
