Thread: A/C RPM Cutout (NGC4) ?

    A/C RPM Cutout (NGC4) ?

    Has anyone experimented with the high RPM air conditioning compressor cut out (NGC4)? Any thoughts?

    Although it appears simple (RPM with a minimum throttle, min/max speed and a couple timer values) it doesn't appear to cutout the A/C compressor (2008 Jeep JK) when the RPM exceeds the setting w/ throttle above min, and speed between min & max.

    Here are the settings for a stock 16 Challenger Scatpack.

    RPM = 0
    SPEED MAX = 255
    SPEED MIN = 0
    MAX THROTTLE = 3,098
    MINIMUM TIME = 20.0
    RESET TIME = 0

    Thanks, haven't tried an RPM of 0 and using throttle as the only variable to cutout the A/C compressor.

    Did that fix it for you? Rams don't kill the compressor for acceleration either in my experience.

    Didn't try that yet, super busy lately

    The settings from the Challenger didn't have any affect either. Wondering if this a known issue? Perhaps it's just not enabled on some calibrations? Submitted a ticket, and we'll see what there is to know...

    Wow that's odd, they worked on my Ram so I assumed they would work for you.
    I'll be curious to hear what you find out. Nuts that they don't kill the clutch from the factory if you ask me.
