    Dyno run my manual corvette.

Guys I?m renting a dyno just to make some pulls, now what should I not do??

My main concern it?s after the pill can I downshift a a gear to slow the car down? Or just let brake by itself? I have the choice if I want to makes some pulls on the dyno and don?t want to mess it up.

Let the Dyno take it down don't hit the brakes or downshift

It won't hurt the car but can through off the Dyno calibration

make your hit in 4th, at the end of the pull throw it into neutral and hit the brake switch on the dyno. don't use your brakes as it will kill them quick and can also mess with the dyno. no need to downshift at all.

this thread is why the avg joe should not drive his own car on a dyno.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
