    Question about AFM delete

I'm working on a 2012 Silverado 5.3 LMG, and doing a complete AFM delete using L96 6.0 cam and valley cover. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the MPVI2, but have a question. When disabling AFM do you need to turn off all codes pertaining to that system, or can you just disable it and be done?

    TIA

Disabling the codes should be done as well.

If your plan to keep the VVT using that 6.0 camshaft? I'd rather just remove both if you plan to replace everything.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I'm keeping the VVT. My thinking was to keep it simple, and not have to worry about changing sensors, ect. Doing this for a friend that has had the lifters replaced once, and it's starting to tick again.
