    tune review

Hi, I have been messing with tuning my 05 cummins for a couple weeks. It's a completely stock truck, just a dual disk clutch to handle the power. Its feeling a lot better now. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Don't be afraid to throw more fuel at it. Also change your wastegate Min Duty Cycle Limit for more boost. When my truck was stock I was daily driving it with 3000uS of duration, and it was making 40psi of boost with the min wastegate duty cycle set at %60. It looks pretty good to me though, good tow tune.

thanks, I'll try that. I was messing with the different tables to control boost but I couldn't figure out what the different tables did. I was just messing with a manual boost controller that I made a while back but it wasn't seeming to work either. I just got back from a drive where I just cut the waste gate hose to see what the boost would do. I set a fuel cut at above 35 pounds and it hit that easy. Do you know how much pressure the stock map sensor can read up to. I wanted to set a fuel cut at the top of the map sensor just incase something happens so everything is safe. The highest I have seen so far is 49 absolute pressure, so like 34.3 pounds of boost. I would like to to be a consistent like 35 pounds. Thanks

so for changing boost you just but the min wastegate duty to 60 and left everything else stock settings? And that gave you like 40 pounds?

Air flow>General>Limits> Max Airflow, I changed all the 4500 cells to 6000, then I put min duty cycle to %60. Seems like I would "peg" the MAP at 51.4 Psi.

Looks like in your tune the cells are at a 5000 value.

Your fueling(duration/rail pressure) and timing will also have an affect on boost seen. Min duty cycle helps for how quickly it gets up to peak boost. I set the min duty cycle higher than 60%.
