    Built 2011 shelby.

    Built my 2011 gt500,stage 2 comp cams ,stainless works long tubes ,fid injectors 1000cc,65 mill trottle ,123 mass air,9.1 compression ,whipple 2.9 10 percent ati overdrive 3 inch up top 15 psi on the hit level out 14psi confirmed.im mixing fuse ignite so close to 100 octane ,layed down 679 613 on dyno jet,11.6 afr,16 degrees off timing ,thinking it will take more timing do to low boost ,will retune it ,thoughts please.

    3 more degrees should make 715-720 or so

    Do you guys think boost is where its suppose to be the pullies should make 18.5 19 psi I didnt think I'd loose 4 to 5 pounds with cams and long tubes ,anyway getting some back in the tune .

    boost is a measure of restriction, larger cams/overlap and a free flowing exhaust will drop your boost.

    If you want to run this boost level, I'd say more timing, I run straight 93 octane on mine, 26psi, 22 degrees, but 8.4:1 compression.

    So little more timing will net little more boost.

    Yes I've looked at pullies but I can only get 2.7 so 2 more pounds off boost I'm told i knew I'd loose some boost threw cams but not quite this much .

    Less boost means your engine is moving more air. Thats good! Timing does not effect boost.Boost is a measurement of restriction

    Yeah I'm ordering a 2.7 pully get back 2psi and then add little more timing and log on dyno ,hoping see 17psi
