    Gen2 control pack issue, did I screw myself?

    So I'm wondering if I made a big mistake in reading my control pack ECU. I went thru all the steps in setting it up, and when going thru the reading process etc, I entered the vin off of the vehicle I'm doing the swap in.(97 Cobra) I did that thinking that 97 vin # would show up in the ecu for emissions etc. Now when I go to scan with the VCM scanner, I can only get a few PIDs to work. Is this because I inserted the 97 cobra vin? Is the anyway to reread the ecu so I can insert a 2015+ vin?
