    Cool New motor w/Cam BTR Stage 2 LS3

    2009 G8 GT 6.0L Fresh rebuild
    mods - BTR Stage 2 LS3 cam kit degreed straight up. Everything else is stock, literally.
    Fired up broke in with 3 - 10 minute heat cycles changed oil and filter.
    Hard to start..... Go Figure.
    When it starts it runs great but rough idle... hot start is sporatic.
    Tune enclosed.
    I am such a newb......I know i am going to get roasted but some help would be appreciated.
    I am amazed at the parameters within the program...Boggles the mind with so many variables.

    oh yeah and we only have 91 octane here in the peoples republic of California...LOL

    Your Base Running Airflow probably needs to be increased by 3.00 from the start to 1000rpm. Just highlight the whole block and add 3.00. Then you can smooth out the 1200 and 1600 column.
    Isn't your MAP sensor offset supposed to be -0.31 instead of 0.31 ? I may be confused.
    Do you have a wideband hooked up to scanner? You should adjust your MAF curve and vve tables.
    Go to injection timing and make the boundary 520 across until you get it running right. Then you can play with injection timing.

    thanks for the response Lakegoat.
    As far as a wideband i have one and will get it hooked up as soon as possible. i guess it would help to post the log as well...

    here is the log. I hope i am posting the right things...
    A little unsure of all this. it really doesn't want to start. worried about burning out the starter.
    The log shows it dying and hard starting.

    Got her going!!!

    So had a little victory today. Found some tunes on the repository that had the same cam as I did and traded out some of the parameters, trial and error x 20, Mostly idle air stuff........ Got something that starts, hunts a little for the stable idle and drives kinda smooth. Stumbles a little off the line but i will take that. Something to start with....
    Some more critique would help. Man I changed so many tables around....Haven't had time to compare them yet but I am hoping that maybe it helps someone in the same crappy place I was in the future.

    the build -
    Crank straightened and polished
    ARP head studs, mains and Rods
    .002 over on the big end of the rods. rebushed smalls. (reconditioned stockers)
    New Manley intake valves.
    BTR Stage II Cam Kit and springs (DOD delete)
    BTR trunnion kit.
    Mahle .010 over 4032 pistons forged aluminum (rings Gapped for power adders)
    High volume oil pump Melling......

    Thanks Guys ,
    Got it running good enough was able to get to my tuner yesterday . Just some surging @ 1500 rpm ..FT not to bad .

    He did some part throttle data logging and pulled tune said did not look that bad tweaked few things going on dyno today
    for WOT/ PE/ A/F etc ..
