Gen V swap 17 Tahoe 8 speed auto

I can?t get the car to run. I?ve tried VATS, and clutch and starter switches. I?m not getting any injectors pulse while cranking. If I put starter fluid it will run. It tried to hit a cylinder here and there. But will not run. Any ideas?

Is your fuel pump working? Or are you getting fuel to the rail?

I know at first start I had fuel cut status until high pressure pump was up to pressure and it took about 10 seconds of cranking. Try logging some parameters while cranking:

    Fuel rail pressure
    Desired fuel pressure
    Fuel pressure state
    Fuel cut type
    Immidiate engine torque source.

Also, check the codes. Possibly need to turn off a few more.

Ok I get a weird reading of like 95000. Is there an actual high pressure fuel rail sensor

Yes. It is on the back of the driver's side fuel rail.

    Is it required?

It changes pulse-width depending on pressure. It absolutely has to know how much pressure the injectors are receiving.

    I wonder why it?s maxed at 95000, it?s connected

I set all LP settings to a default 72. But it reads zero in the log. I wonder if that?s my issue?

Did you removed the harness? under intake manifold? there are 2 connectors that can be mixed when reinstalling those contains wiring for the injectors, fuel rail pressure sensor , etc, i have seen that issue at least 2 times, did you have any codes?, crank it, read codes, crank it, read codes again, read codes again, to see if it throw you something.

Awesome guys... thanks... we are trying it step by step

That was it. The damn harness was backwards. The only thing we are fighting is the pedal doesn?t work. But started right up and idles perfect

    That is great!

It would really help if you can plug in, open up VCM Scanner and check what codes you have.

I?m away on vacation, I?ll get home and reflash with stock cal vats off and see what all codes come up. I had turned several off for attempting to get it to run
