P59 PCM - Tuning for DBC, or is it native?

Looking for 5FDP as he popped up on every thread I just read from my search.

I have a 12589462, HW 12589161, from a 2006 Express Van. From my searches, this PCM is compatible with DBC and DBW as it has the IAC drivers on board.

I have searched, and do not know if I am wording my searches correctly, but I was wondering if there is something that needs to be modified in the tune to remove the DBW functionality, or if I just plug up and go, and it will sense that there is an IAC and TPS connected, and default to DBC functionality.

I see the Electronic Throttle table under 'Engine' but am not sure if any of it needs to be adjusted, or in what way, so I wanted to ask first.

Thank you in advance for any guidance!

The stock tune for a 2006 Van should already be DBC.

I just look at the engine codes to see if the DBW codes are active, but i'm sure there's a more precise way to know for sure.

I hadn't thought of looking at it from that way. So, not to take away from my original question, because that is the most important... but what if I was trying to ENABLE the DBW functionality of a P59 set up for DBC. What would I need to modify in order to change the throttle type?

    System > General > Vehicle > System Options > ETC column: 0 = Not Fitted, 1 = Fitted

No kidding? It's that easy? Is there any other residual stuff I need to change, or will that cause the PCM to ignore ETC altogether?
