5Th Gear no power

God I had swarn I saved my new one with soi and eoi but I guess I forgot to save it and track is closed....

Here is my most recent pass and tune. If you could possibly take a look at my Knock Retard settings I think everything is correct but maybe there is something wrong and im just not seeing it. I mean im a full couple seconds making absolutely no power at all. I do have some knock retard right before 5th not sure how true it is I feel I would have blown up by now if it was real. I appreciate it a ton!!!

Your 5th gear short RPM plateau after the shift looks like every non TCM tuned A8 log I have found online, including all of mine.

I have read before that you can only fix that with a trans tune, sorry I don't have much more info on it though, but I have seen similar many times.

Oh sweet that would make sense! Anyone else feel the same way if so I’ll send her out for an unlock

Any other input on if the Tranny tune looks to be to be the problem before I rip this thing out and send it in for an unlock?

The trans tune is worth .2-.3 in the 1/4 it seems... Makes it worth it on its own! ha

Def get the Trans Tuned. My biggest grip when I had an A8 was when it shifted into 5th it fell on it face and Torque Management Advance would pull timing for a long time into 5th. It would actually cause or perhaps the stock TCM tune would cause the Torque Converter to slip as well during this.

I went back to a Manual car before I figured out what the problem was but this was years ago.
