Knock Retard, low rpm, moderate load

Having an issue with KR in the 1600-2400 range at moderate throttle. I've removed timing, added timing with no real change in KR. LTFT's are in and around +-5%. 93 Octane. I don't hear any knock (not saying it isn't there). Also does not have KR all the time in those areas.

Truck is 05 2500 DBW Lq4 6.0, 214/228 .550/.550 117 +4 camshaft, Stock 317 heads, shorty headers, new ls7 lifters, 7.4 hardened pushrods, che rocker upgrade, new knock sensors and harness.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Badreligion,

try changing the Power Enrichment delay rpm from 2,500 to 1,800 and the Enable MAP kpa from 55 to 70 and see if you still get the KR.

How much timing have you played with and what is the load it happens at? Are you entering enrichment when this happens at all or no?

Post a log of it happening.

    Hi WS6FirebirdTA00,

his log and tune are in his post and I looked at it. He's not entering enrichment when its happening and timing is at 22 degrees when occurring.

Ah, sorry I thought that was all one file. Not having a space threw me off

Still curious how low you have gone. With a heavy truck like that, 22 deg sounds a tad high. I think your timing tables ramp down pretty quick too. You jump 5-10 deg between rows in some high load areas. Granted, you may not be in those, but that seem pretty drastic to me.
