    2.2 Ecotec Test Rig

Unfortunately, I think I may have fried my pcm so I bought another one from the junkyard along with the bcm and all the connectors. During the next week, I plan on using the connectors along with a power supply from a desktop to build a diagnostic test rig for mainly checking the voltages of my reference signals from the "bad" pcm vs the "new" and maybe uploading tunes. Do I need to "spoof" any of the signals for the engine sensors in order to complete those circuits and get an accurate voltage measurement or will I be okay? I plan on having the BCM part of this system so the PCM can pass it's passlock requirement but if there's anything past that, I'm unaware of it at the moment. Thanks guys in advance, hopefully there's still some experts out there checking these boards every now and again.
