2018 Challenger R/T Won't Read

I am trying to read the factory file on a 2018 Challenger. We installed headers, cut-outs, an Edelbrock intake and 92mm throttle body at the shop where I work and they asked me to look at the tune. I know the ECM has to be sent in with a copy of the original tune but every time I try to read, it fails. I am new to tuning and have only played with my TBSS and a friends Silverado, never touched anything else but thought I'd give this a go since the guy the customer was taking the car to can't see him for 3 months. I can log the car running at idle and see available channels like tach, 02 senors, timing etc...but can't read it. I will attach a .jpg of the error when I try to read, I don't know how to upload the log file so if someone can guide me on how to do that I will be happy to.

with 2018 you need the SMART KEY ACCESS

i needed a bypass cable for my 18 ram dont get the hptuners one its hard to install behind the dash.. get the one from diablosport its easy plug in one simple connector
