MPVI2 and inverter use (yeah... dead horse whipping... LOL)

Can I use an inverter during LOGGING ONLY?

Seems I lose most of my charge while logging, Im wondering if its OK to use an inverter during the logging process? Would be VERY NICE if I could. My laptop is less than 5 years old also.

    Thanks in advance!!!

HPT will always recommend against it, but I have been doing it for years with all 3 of my modules without issue. Literally thousands of hours logging and writing tunes, all on inverter power

So since this is not a DC to AC inverter and basically a step-up transformer, it should be safe? Im a hair from pulling the trigger on this...
