    2017 Jeep Grand cherokee STR8

    Does the TCM needs to be sent out to unlock to tune the transmission on this truck, i dont get the option to read it.

    The pcm does need to be sent out and unlocked. If the tcm isn't coming up it's because they need to populate it. They will take care of it after you get it unlocked. They do it all the time for people with 8 and 9 speeds. Even a 2019 challenger a customer had to wait for a beta release to read it. If you send an infolog they should be able to add it before hand.
