Cropping Sections Out of Videos and Data Files

    Hello,

I need to remove a section of a video that already has all the cameras and data files sync'ed up. I basically pulled into the pits for a couple of minutes to sort out an issue before heading back onto the track. During that time I kept all my data logging and video rolling. Now I would prefer to cut that part out while keeping all the data and video in sync. If I just edit the video outside of RaceRender, then I will also have to somehow re-sync the data files for that portion? That sounds really messy. I would like to just trim out a section and keep them all together. Anyone know how to do that? Everything I have found on the help references trimming which only covers the beginning and the end.

    Thanks for any pointers!

The easiest way would be to render with data overlay in racerender, then edit that section out in a normal video editor. Since you've already overlaid the data, it will be in sync after editing the 2nd time. You'll have to render the video twice, though.
