    09 G8 huge oscillations in fueling above 4700rpm log and cal inside

    Hello all,
    Customer car is an 09 G8 gt and i'm seeing some real big oscillations in maf calc'ed airflow and absolute load so fueling is getting wrecked. I see smooth data in MAP but maf freq is a little choppy the further you rev it. Anything I should be doing that i'm missing info on? Or is normal with cam installs and I should be going SD?

    Unknown cam, but its lopey
    Headers and full exhaust
    some aftermarket intake

    Some aftermarket intake leaves a lot to the imagination. I'd pull it off and make sure it's half decent at least. No nasty turns in the air path, nothing obstructing the MAF, and look and see if it has a screen. Typically a MAF won't wig out like that unless it's contaminated or you went the wrong direction with the filter value, which I don't think is the case.
