Knock sensor, Sensor type and detection mode?

    Hello,
I have a 2012 5.3 block that I am putting in a 2003 S10. I was informed to change my knock sensors to the type that went under the intake, but install them on the sides of the block. I tapped and installed that under intake style on the side of the block. I guess the P59 ecu won't read the stock style that was there. My question is if I need to change anything under the knock sensor type and detection mode. I haven't touched it and it is set to Sensor type "resonant" and sensor detection mode "cylinder"

Do I need to change mode to "Engine" and if so do I need to do anything else?
I've tried searching EVERYWHERE for this info to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Getting ready to start this puppy today. Fingers crossed.
