2007 4.6 2v logging knock

Hey all I have a 2007 crown Vic. I have searched the forums and interwebs on how to log knock and can't seem to find a good answer on a histogram or how to set one up to log knock.

I get a volts reading in the pids but that's it.. what good is that ? I'm sure the higher the volts the more knock but is there a better way?
