Tuning LS1 Maf independent of VE

    Hi all,

I was looking for an old thread but couldn't for the life of me find it (I think it was russ kemp who made it). Anyways I am back to tuning my LS1 and I have shut off the MAF and am tuning VE. I am getting pretty far along with my ve tables that I am about ready to switch over back to maf shortly to tune. I forget how to isolate and only tune the MAF so that the VE does not play into the equation?

I swear there was a way to do it, and I have searched high and low to find the thread and I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone help refresh my memory?

Put the dynamic airflow high rpm disable from the factory 4,000/3,900rpm down to like 100/90rpm. Then it would be considered "MAF only".

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Thanks - I thought it had something to do with a setting in there. I had mine still set to 800rpms from when I was tuning it last year as I guess I forgot to set it back.

And just to confirm, if I had that setting on 800 and it is considered "MAF" only, if I have the MAF set to disable then I still would only be getting VE data correct?
